Baby Moon Doula Package

This package includes the following:

2 prenatal appointments (approx. 1.5-2 hours each), one around 32 weeks and the second around 36 weeks, to get to know your unique preferences for the labor and postpartum period, as well as to get to know one another better, and to answer any questions you may have or soothe any fears you may have.

24/7 email, text, and phone support upon contract signing.

24/7 on call availability beginning two weeks before your estimated due date.

Continuous support during labor and birth for the birthing person and their family including facilitation of your birth vision, comfort measures, movement, positioning, aromatherapy, additional music, special prayers or scripture if the family requests, or anything that feels supportive to you (the birthing person), working with your partner (if applicable) to establish and maintain a peaceful and positive environment, and working with the staff and care providers to establish rapport and to ensure that you have enough information to make informed decisions about your care.

Staying after the birth until the family feels comfortable and safe enough for me to step away. During the postpartum period I will also help with getting breastfeeding established, ensuring the new family gets time to peacefully bond, fetching food and drinks, helping the family settle, and whatever else the family may need to have a peaceful and positive environment.

2 postpartum appointments (approx. .5-1 hour each), the first within 48 hours and the second within 14 days, to take some of the stress off of the new family in anyway they need help such as provide breastfeeding support, help with troubleshooting any issues or feeding/sleeping cycles, spending time with baby to allow the parents to rest or bathe, basic household tasks, assistance with after birth healing (sitz bath, emotional support, etc.), organization of supplies, helping with baby care, baby wearing, etc., errands, and small meal preparation.

20 postpartum hours (maximum of 4 hours straight, no overnights, break up the hours however you please within the first 40 days) where the doula may give breastfeeding support (with referral to a lactation consultant if necessary), troubleshooting with feeding and sleep cycles, spend time with baby so the birthing parent can rest, basic household tasks, assistance with after birth healing (sitz bath, emotional support, etc.), organization of supplies, helping with baby care and babywearing (guiding as you learn), grocery shopping and other errands, and meal prep.

A 30% nonrefundable retainer is due at contract signing, and the rest is due by 36 weeks (a payment plan can be arranged). If baby is born before 36 weeks the remainder is due within a month of birth if the doula was present for the birth. In the event of a loss of pregnancy, the family will be refunded what they have paid towards the services, except for the retainer, and provided bereavement services free of charge if needed. Backup is provided if necessary.
